Pilgrims chanting 'Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik', which means 'O Allah, I am Here, proceeded early Wednesday from Mina to Arafat. Arafat day is the climax of the Hajj days. Pilgrims will spend day hours in Arafat, and after sunset they will return to Muzdalifa where they will spend their night in line with the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him. On Thursday morning they will proceed from Muzdalifa to Mina after collecting pebbles for the ritual of stoning Jamrat. A top Hajj official said 'everything is moving smoothly according to our plan'. The concerned authorities have made the required precautionary measures so as to avoid recurrence of problems which occurred in the past at the Jamrat zone.
