King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued implementing the voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness and its causes in Kano, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which started on July 7 and will continue until July 14. KSrelief's medical team examined 421 eye patients, performed 255 surgeries, dispensed 1,305 prescriptions and provided 383 glasses, benefitting families and individuals of limited income who can not afford treatment costs. This falls within voluntary medical campaigns to combat blindness being implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, in a number of countries.
