King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued implementing the voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness and its causes in Kano, the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Over the past two days, KSrelief's medical team examined 1,115 eye patients, performed 161 eye surgeries, dispensed 805 prescriptions and provided 390 glasses, benefitting families and individuals of limited income who can not afford treatment costs. This comes as a part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian efforts, represented by KSrelief, aiming to provide, in cooperation with the Al-Basar International Foundation, the necessary medical care for individuals who suffer from eye diseases in a number of countries.
