Crown Steel continued its unbeaten run against Elaf, My Care Hala humbled Mazco by huge 93 runs and AOT won against IDB in the Premier League Championship of the Westrn Province Cricket Association (WPCA) here.
Elaf Advance was restricted to 137-8 by Crown Steel as Aijaz grabbed 5-19 and Hussain Bhatti accounted for 2-23 and Shafiq got one. Only Siddique resisted by making 26. Crown was home with Abid Ahmed hitting an unbeaten 68 in 42 balls and Fahad 25 not out.
IDB went down to AOT GFC after making 134 all out. Zeeshan took 4-17, Imran Yusuf 2-25 and Qaiser 2-23. Shahzad and Nasir claimed one each. Khalid Butt fought single-handedly by making 50 off 27 balls. AOT GFC stormed to 139 for 3 in 93 balls through Faiq Habib (52) and Ataa (44). Waseem, Sarfaraz and Khalid Butt took the wickets.
My Care Hala plundered 232 for 2, mainly through Khurram Karamat who blasted 119 off 49 balls with 12 fours and 6 huge sixes. Maqsood contributed 64. They added 174 for the first wicket in 14 overs. Waqas remained unbeaten on 25. Umer and Tabassum were the wicket-takers. Mazco in reply could make only 139-8. Tabassum topscored with 35. Umer took 4-18. Waqas, Azim, Mohsin, Abdullah and Hamid Rana claimed one wicket each.
