King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in cooperation with the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), distributed today food assistance provided by the Kingdom through the center, targeting more than 300,000 Syrian and Palestinian refugees and the host community in Lebanon. The Under-Secretary-General of the UN and Executive Secretary of ESCWA, Dr. Rola Dashti, said that the humanitarian and relief support provided by the Kingdom to Lebanon through KSrelief is in line with its humanitarian role in standing with needy and affected countries from around the world. Dashti added that this humanitarian project is a step to be added to other projects and initiatives being implemented in cooperation with the center to serve the needy and the affected communities, stressing that this aid will be distributed to various social segments and needy family groups in Lebanon, especially women who provide for their families in various Lebanese regions.
