The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that some parts of the regions of Eastern and Northern Borders will witness an increase in the maximum temperatures, while the thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds are still forecasted to occur on some parts of Jazan and Asir heights and the sky will be partly cloudy on some parts of the regions of Tabuk, Hail, Jawf and Northern Borders and the light fog will be seen during early morning hours on the coastal parts of Makkah and Madinah regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at speed of 12-32 km/h, increasing to 40 km/h, on northern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be southwesterly to westerly during the day at a speed of 10-25 km/h, turning during the night easterly to northeasterly at a speed of 5-15 km/h.
