In its daily forecast for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported that moderate to torrential thunderstorms, accompanied by active wind and fog, are expected on some parts Makkah, Baha, Riyadh, Qassim and Eastern regions, as well as thunderstorms, accompanied by active wind expected on some parts of Asir, Jazzan, Madinah, Hail, Northern Borders, Jawf and Tabuk regions, while snow expected to fall on Alqan, Jabal Al-Lawz and Al-Zetah heights. The report added that the surface wind movement along the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 25-45 km/h on northern and central parts, and southerly to southwesterly at a speed of 25-50 on southern parts of the country, while the surface wind movement on the Arabian Gulf will be easterly to southeasterly at speed of 25-50 km/h.
