Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Exerts All Efforts to Support Yemen, while Houthi Militia Continues Destruction
Published in Saudi Press Agency on 16 - 06 - 2021

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strategy is focused on building new alliances, benefiting from its unique position and great potentials. Additionally, through its wise policy, Saudi Arabia serves its interests without affecting the interests of others.
Saudi Arabia's strategy is not limited to building alliances. It extends and includes strengthening the region's forces and regional alliances that enhance the ability of addressing any threat. In this regard, Saudi Arabia worked on establishing a number of coalitions such as: Arab Coalition Forces to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen and Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) that enhance the region's security and activate its forces, the newspaper added.
This proactive approach embodies the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, regarding establishing a bright future for the entire region, the newspaper concluded.
In another context, Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to exert all efforts to rebuild brotherly Yemen, which the terrorist Houthi militia turned into a battlefield, seizing its resources and capabilities.
The newspaper added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian projects, being implemented in Yemen through King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY), have been highly commended and appreciated by the international community and its organizations.
KSrelief also implements a number of development and humanitarian projects including, a project to rehabilitate child recruits and children impacted by the armed conflict in Yemen and its project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen. The center, as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's grant to support Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan 2020, contributed to launching projects to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic and provide medical supplies and medicines in Yemen. KSrelief also continues to implement numerous projects covering health, education, nutrition, water and environmental sanitation sectors, the newspaper further said.
SDRPY also continues to launch many projects in continuation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to support stability in Yemen and based on its leadership role regarding the success achieved in implementing the Riyadh Agreement between the Yemeni parties, the newspaper concluded.
