The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held here today a meeting, at the level of permanent delegates, to inform member states about the content of the strategic plan for the development of vital sectors in Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Occupied Jerusalem), and the mechanisms proposed by the State of Palestine to implement it, within the framework of following up the implementation of the decisions issued by the Fourteenth Islamic Summit and the Council of Ministers Foreign in this regard. The Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and Jerusalem Affairs Ambassador Samir Bakr Diab, delivered a speech on behalf of the Secretary-General of the organization, during which he affirmed the organization's continued solidarity and standing with the Palestinian people, in order to protect its sanctities and obtain their legitimate rights, including the establishment of its independent state with its capital, Al-Quds Al-Sharif, indicating that this meeting embodies the firm commitment and the shared responsibility of member states to support the city of Jerusalem.
