President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein received here today Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Director General of the UAE National Media Council, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak al Araimi, Director General and Editor-in-Chief of Oman News Agency (ONA) and Ibrahim Al Abed, Advisor to Director General of the UAE National Media Council. During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and news exchange between Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and other news agencies. Touring the different departments of SPA together with his guests, Al-Hussein briefed the GCC media officials on the functions of the editing desk, ITC, photographing and TV production, new media and media center as well as all using state-of-the-art devices and equipment. The guests were briefed on the news content provided by the SPA in six languages in addition to its accounts on the social media platforms. The GCC media officials were impressed of what they have has seen: skilled and professional cadres using the world-class technologies to provide news and reports in line with a development and renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
