Six people, including two children, were killed and another two were wounded after a vehicle struck a roadside bomb in Afghanistan's eastern Kapisa province, the Afghan Interior Ministry said on Wednesday, according to dpa. The incident took place at 04:20 pm (1150 GMT) on Tuesday, ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said. Roadside bombs are often laid by militants to hamper the movement and progress of Afghan forces, but they frequently harm civilians.
