Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh commented today in its editorial entitled "Contradiction of Thought & Action" in Iranian politics by saying that the Arabian Gulf is one of the most important waterways, as it is located on the outskirts of three continents of Asia, Africa and Europe, and is of strategic importance not only to the countries on it but to the world as a link between East and West. It said the Arabian Gulf plays an important role on the military, economic and political level, as many oil tankers pass through it to the oil ports on its coasts, because most of the countries overlooking its coasts are oil exporters, in addition, its waters include oil and gas wells. "However, with its great importance, Iran is playing a very negative role in the security of the Gulf with its aggressive intercontinental policies and its constant attempts to make it a hotbed of tension, as happened in the past few months, which led the United States and a number of European countries to seek to form a coalition to maintain security in the Gulf waters to protect their interests." the paper explained. Al-Riyadh noted that then, the Iranian president Hassan Rouhani, comes to talk about security and stability, manifesting the contradiction between thought and action in Iranian politics, which is not new, but repeated and completely shows the bad intentions of Tehran regime, that would lead to serious consequences.
