The Thai parliament passed a motion late Thursday to defer the enforcement of an election law by three months, possibly pushing back the election planned for November until February 2019. According to dpa, the junta-appointed Nation Legislative Assembly passed the motion a majority votes after 14 hours of intense debates over an appropriate timeframe to allow political parties to select their candidates for the election.
