In cooperation with the South African Embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Al-Sharqia Chamber has organized a catalog exhibition during which it presented a number of products and services to companies from South Africa in the fields of health, tourism, food, oil and gas. The South African Ambassador to the Kingdom Mohammed Abbas Khan said that South Africa is today one of the most developed and diversified emerging markets in the world and is considered one of the most prominent and powerful African countries in terms of economy, noting that South Africa has a wealth of natural resources including coal, platinum, gold, iron ore, nickel, manganese, uranium and chromium, and is also receiving increasing attention from international exploration companies, especially in oil and gas sectors. For his part, a member of the Board of Directors of Al-Sharqia Chamber Najib Al-Sihati said that the Kingdom, within the framework of Vision 2030, is looking for huge investments from various countries of the world and for broad economic partnerships with developed countries, especially South Africa which has positive economic relations, hoping that in the near future, the trade exchange between the two countries exceeds this year amounting to about 14.8 billion riyals, where Saudi exports amounted to 10.2 billion riyals, and imports 4.6 billion riyals.
