Sultan Humanitarian City has won the platinum award for the category "sustainable quality and patient safety initiative" at the 2022 Patient Safety Congress in Dubai. The city received the vote of the jury unanimously for its project "Moving to zero harm with the use of high credibility concepts of organization principles", which competed against 71 medical projects from 16 Middle Eastern countries. Prince Faisal bin Sultan, Secretary-General of Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation, stressed that the award is the fruit of relentless work. He appreciated efforts by the city to apply the highest standards of quality and best international practices, noting that the city vision targets creating an exceptional recovery and work environment, whether for patients or the workforce, thus contributing to developing all elements that can positively reflect on the growth of programs and development of medical care, which will help offer advanced services to the society. He noted that these civil achievements that Saudi Arabia realizes are part of the limitless support of the wise leadership and in light of the Saudi Vision 2030 and its multiple programs in realizing national transformation, which will eventually make the Kingdom among developed countries in terms of healthcare. He praised the pioneering role of the Ministry of Health in achieving integration with the nonprofit sector and enabling it to serve society. — SPA
