The crown prince underwent the surgery at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh on Wednesday morning. He left the hospital later in the day after the successful surgery. The hashtag in Arabic #Salamat _ya_Abu Salman, which loosely translates "May you be safe" was trending on Twitter on Thursday. People expressed their love and affection for the crown prince and wished him good health and long and prosperous life. "Our beloved Crown Prince had surgery, we wish him a quick recovery and good health," said a Saudi Twitter user. Another Saudi tweeted, saying: "May Allah protect you for your people and your homeland. You are our hope for the bright future." "We wish you a fast recovery, our Crown Prince, and we hope to see you in good health," read another tweet. Ordinary Saudis were joined by ministers, top officials, government, and private institutions, who also wished their leader good health and long life. Expressing his love and concern for the leader, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan thanked God for the successful surgery the Crown Prince underwent and prayed for his good health. The minister of state for foreign Affair, Adel Al-Jubeir also took to Twitter, praying for the health and wellness of the crown prince Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to the United States Prince Reema Bint Bandar also wished the leader good health.
