JEDDAH — Former chairman of the managing committee of International Indian School Jeddah (IISJ), Mohammad Asif Rameez Daudi, has been appointed as international honorary adviser of Millennial India International Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (MIICCIA). Daudi, an educationist, social activist and an active member of the Indian community, will now be among the team of veteran Indian career diplomats, bureaucrats and businessmen etc. in his new capacity. MIICCIA President Ambassador Anil Trigunayat (Retd.), former ambassador to Jordan, Libya and Malta and who has served in the Indian missions in Cote d'Ivoire, Bangladesh, Mongolia, USA, Russia, Sweden, Nigeria etc., has taken MIICCIA to greater heights with the help of his committed team members. Amarendra Khatua IFS (Retd.), Anil Kumar Kapila, former director at MEA, Gopal Singh and Afroz Ahmad are the directors and founder members of MIICCIA. Daudi's appointment has been confirmed and intimated by MIICCIA Additional Director Gaurav Ravish and an active member Syed Tufail Ahmed. The founder members/promoters of MIICIA had dream for this forum for the last 25 years when they dealt with several business houses, Chambers of Commerce in India and abroad, personally seen and realized by understanding the needs of business houses, views and concerns of the industry and policies that become challenges toward the growth of the businesses, industry, agriculture as well as the country. Daudi is currently a language specialist at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. He brings with him an extensive experience from the education world. He has been associated with numerous academic setups and has a prolonged overseas exposure of two decades in the educational and community services.
