A medical team of International Islamic Relief Organization affiliated to Muslim World League (MWL) has performed 550 surgical operations to remove cataract, and implant lenses in the medical camp established in the city of Bangor in the Republic of Chad benefiting 4500 patients . This step came within the framework of the five-day medical campaign adopted by the Muslim World League in Chad under the supervising of the secretary general of the Muslim World League Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin AbdulKarim Al-Issa and in cooperation with Al-Basar International Foundation. The Regional Director of the League Office in West Africa, Mahmoud Omar Flata, said that the League is working through these camps to treat blind people who lost their jobs because of this illness.
