The Minister of Labor Engineer Adel bin Mohammed Faqih of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia underscored the existence of a wide range of difficulties and challenges facing all Arab labor markets. The Minister Adel Faqih who is also the Chairman of the Arab Labor Organization noted that the biggest challenge is the cause of employment and the second is the issue of social protection with its general concept which includes the provision of social insurance, proper work opportunities and minimum appropriate conditions for work environment. In a statement today to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Engineer Adel Faqih said that the Arab Labor Conference which is holding its 39th session here now is a great opportunity for the exchange of expertise, coordination and integration among Arab countries in order to benefit from the experiences of other countries and this is what we aspire to be activated in the Arab labor conferences. The Minister of Labour also explained that the Kingdom reviews in this conference its initiatives topped by "Nitaqat" and "Hafiz" programs which were launched last year upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in order to provide new and additional solutions to deal with the challenges of unemployment and employment in Saudi Arabia. Engineer Adel Faqih made clear that it is normal that the Kingdom is keen on providing job opportunities for its citizens as the first priority, then it resorts to the brotherly Arab countries in order to benefit from employment opportunities within the Kingdom.
