AlHijjah 19, 1432, Nov 15, 2011, SPA -- Austria's economic expansion slowed down to 0.3 per cent in the third quarter, along with demand for exports, dpa quoted the Wifo institute as saying Tuesday. Gross domestic product (GDP) grew quarter-on-quarter on the back of private consumption and investments in machinery. Growth slackened for the fourth quarter in a row, said Wifo, which supplies the government with economic data. Year-on-year, the economy increased 2.6 per cent between July and September, down from 3.9 per cent.
