Prince Sultan Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), said that the Commission has made great efforts in recent times to retrieve antiquities from abroad to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and that it has retrieved about 14,000 pieces of antiquities. He also stressed that the Commission is intensifying its works with all concerned parties in the Kingdom and abroad to retrieve more pieces of antiquities that will be displayed at National Retrieved Antiquities Exhibition at the National Museum in Riyadh within the activities of Janadria National Festival for Heritage and Culture next year under the patronage of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) here today, the Prince expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King for his attention and care of the national heritage, calling on anyone who has antiquities belonging to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia either inside or outside the Kingdom to cooperate with the Commission in retrieving them to be displayed in the Exhibition.
