Awwal 09, 1432 / April 13, 2011, SPA -- Two persons were killed and five injured in a collision of four motor vehicles in Russia's Far Eastern city of Vladivostok, a spokesman for the local traffic police told Itar-Tass on Wednesday. According to the spokesman, the accident occurred at about noon local time. A heavy-duty truck rammed into a motorcar. Later on, another car rammed into an ambulance car that arrived at the scene. According to preliminary information, two persons died instantly, another five were hospitalized, one of them in critical condition. This is a second major traffic accident that occurred in Vladivostok on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, traffic police reported that a bus with no passenger on board rammed into 16 motorcars as the bus driver lost control of the vehicle due to a brakes failure. The accident slightly injured three persons.
