King Abdullah receives princes, Ulema, sheikhs and ministers

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces received at the Royal Court at Mina Palace here today princes, Muslim scholars, sheikhs, ministers, the King's guests from Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and commanders, officers and personnel of Hajj Security who came to greet and congratulate him on the blessed Eid Al-Adha.
At the outset of the audience, they all listened to a recitation of verses of the Holy Quran.
A speech ceremony was held on this occasion.
Addressing the audience, the Monarch congratulated them on the blessed Eid Al-Adha, wishing all and the Muslim nation progress, prosperity and glory.
We are proud of Islam and the serving of the Two Holy Mosques and our brothers of pilgrims and Umrah (Minor Pilgrimage) performers, the King said.
The Monarch added that our efforts in this regard are part of the duty which we were honored by Allah.
King Abdullah addressed them saying, '' I am proud of you. You represent the noblest matters in this homeland including unity, determination and bravery. You are the homeland's shield in peace, sword in war and fortress in crises.
Your honorable stand in confronting the terrorist and deviating group will be recorded on the shining pages of history, the Monarch said and added that you defend the people's religion, sanctuaries and achievements against criminals and killers who destroy themselves and everything. They are not prevented from committing these acts by a belief, morals or conscience, the King said.
The pure blood shed by evildoers and heretics are medals decorating your chests, the chests of the homeland and martyrs, the King said and added that the martyrs' sons are my own and all citizens
In this battle against the deviating group, you will be victorious, the King stressed, noting that evil doers will be defeated.
