Prince Mansour Bin Miteb Bin Abdulaziz, the Head of the Municipal Elections Committee, held here on Sunday evening an open meeting, which focused on replying to all inquiries about the municipal elections. He reiterated the keenness of the Committee on fairness transparency, and said his meetings with the elections committees in Jeddah, Hail, Sharoura, Tabuk and Joaf had showed that the first stage of the registration of electors had witnessed a remarkable success. In a press statement following the meeting, Prince Mansour said the rate of registered electors in Jeddah was higher than the expected rate. "The rate of those who voted among electors registered at the first and second stages exceeded 70 percent," he said, hoping that the same rate will be attained at the third stage of the municipal elections.
