The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through the Religious Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Philippines, held an iftar banquet in Basilan, the Philippines, as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's program for Iftar for 1444 Hijri, which brought together 150 scholars and intellectuals in Isabela and other areas of the southern province of Basilan. The participants expressed their deep thanks to the wise leadership for its generous giving to their Muslim brothers and residents in the Philippines and other countries of the world, particularly in this holy month, praising the Kingdom's efforts in serving Islam and Muslims and its interest to care for them and to alleviate their burdens.
