Swedish Rider Peder Fredricson Wins "Saudi Show Jumping" Equestrian Race

Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Vice-President of Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee crowned yesterday (Saturday) the Swedish rider Peder Fredricson, ranked No. 1 in the world in showjumping, with the trophy of first place in the "Saudi Show Jumping" Equestrian Race, which qualifies for the World Cup showjumping finals 2022 in Germany, for the category (5 stars - 1.55 meters high).
Trophy handing over ceremony was held at the conclusion of the "Saudi Show Jumping" equestrian competition organized by the Saudi Equestrian Federation, under the supervision of the "FEI" at the headquarters of "Saudi Show Jumping" at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field of Horse Racing Club in Janadriyah, west of Riyadh.
The Swedish rider clinched the first place in the final race with a time of 41.31 seconds, 25 milliseconds ahead of Saudi rider Kamal Bahamdan with a time of 41.04 seconds, and Dutch rider Emil Tacceen came third with a time of 42.18 seconds.
In the middle run for the category (5 stars - 1.50 meters high) within the world classification run, which qualifies for a qualifying run for 2022 World Cup in Germany, the rider Abdullah Sharbatly snatched first place with a time of 35.14 seconds, 26 parts of a second behind the German rider Daniel Deusser, ranked second at the world level, he came second with a time of 35.40 seconds, while the Australian rider Edwina Alexander, ranked No. 178 in the world, came in third with a time of 43.63 seconds.
The final day of the tournament started with the small run for the category (one star - 1.20 meters high), and the rider Saud bin Talib won the first place with a time of 38.09 seconds, and the rider Mohammed Al-Qafari came second with a time of 59.13 seconds, and the Dutch rider Emil Tacceen came third with a time of 59.23 seconds.
In the middle run for the category (one star - 1.30 meters high), the Saudi rider Abdullah Sharbatly also achieved first place in it with a time of 52.14 seconds, then the Norwegian rider Camelia Alpher second with a time of 57.12 seconds, and the Saudi rider Abdullah Al-Fraih came third with a time of 57.35 seconds.
It is worth mentioning that the tournament witnessed the participation of 114 male and female riders representing 17 countries, namely the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Australia, Bahrain, Egypt, Germany, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, Algeria, United Kingdom, Norway, UAE, Morocco, and Greece, with a number of 153 horses.
