Under the chairmanship of Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the COVID-19 Follow-up Committee held its 91st meeting today, in the presence of the members of the Committee representing a number of the relevant governmental entities. During the meeting, all relevant COVID-19 updates and reports were reviewed. Following the meeting, Assistant Minister of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali, who is also spokesperson of the Health Ministry, said that 2691 new COVID-19 cases were reported today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that the new cases were reported in many cities and governorates in the Kingdom. He pointed out that the total cases tested positive for COVID-19 in the Kingdom reached 62545 cases, including 28728 active cases and 276 critical cases. He also pointed out that the cases confirmed today represent 60% for non-Saudis and 40% for Saudi nationals. The number of the new recoveries is 1844, bringing the total number of recoverees to 33478, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said, adding that the number of the new deaths is 10, bringing the total death toll to 339. With regard to the tests at the laboratories, Dr. Al-Abdulaali disclosed that 18,094 new tests are conducted, bringing the total number of tests to 636,178 until now.
