Prince Abdullah bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz, President of General Commission for Sports and President of Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, opened here today Arab Anti-Doping Symposium. During the opening ceremony, Prince Abdullah delivered a speech in which he welcomed Director of the World Anti-Doping Agency Olivier Niggli and the participating delegations, stressing the importance of concerted efforts to fight against doping and protect sportsmen, and wishing all success for the two-day symposium. For his part, Chairman of the Saudi Committee for Doping Control Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Ganbaz announced the Kingdom's donation of an amount of $100,000 for the World Anti-Doping Agency and an amount of $50,000 for UNESCO to support their programs that aim at combating doping and drugs.
