The Ministry of Interior issued a statement today on the execution of two criminals in Tabuk region for smuggling a quantity of drugs. It explained that Mohammad bin Suleiman Musa'ad Al-Ataawi and Mohammad bin Abdullah Farhan Al-Atwaai - Saudi nationals - were arrested while trying to smuggle a quantity of banned amphetamine pills and the investigation with them resulted in their confession and they were referred to the Court which proved them guilty of the accusation of smuggling the drugs and sentenced them to the execution, the ruling was approved by the Court of appeal and the Supreme Court. A Royal Decree was issued to legally implement the sentence. The statement pointed out that the criminals / Mohammad bin Suleiman Musa'ad Al-Atawi and Mohammad bin Abdullah Farhan Al-Atawi were executed - On Thursday July 28, 2016 in Tabuk region. The Ministry of the Interior announced that to confirm to the public that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' government is keen on fighting drugs of all kinds due to their serious damage to individuals and the society and that perpetrators of such crimes shall be legally punished.
