Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh drew the attention to the fact that the Saudi authorities have paid great attention to and poured abundant money on building the country's infrastructure, including roads, water drainage, electricity, communications, health and education facilities and others. However, recent downfall have unveiled how fragile some infrastructures are. The paper cited this week's rainfall in some parts of the Kingdom as leading to the closure of schools and killing or injuring of some people who went astray in valleys or tunnels.
