AlQa'dah 25, 1436, September 09, 2015, SPA -- Britain's blue-chip index rallied on Wednesday for a third straight session, boosted by positive corporate news from miners and financial firms and higher Asian markets, Reuters reported. The FTSE 350 mining sector index was up 3.2 percent, extending the previous sessions's rise of 2.6 percent. The rally in miners followed a rebound in Chinese stock markets on Wednesday, which reached a three-week high on the hopes of further government stimulus. China is a major consumer of minerals. The FTSE 100 index was up 1.5 percent, or 92.29 points, at 6,238.39 by 0849 GMT, still more than 12 percent off an all-time high hit in April after uncertainty over China's growth roiled markets in August.
