AlQa'dah 15, 1436, August 30, 2015, SPA -- The Iraqi military information unit announced this evening that tens of rebels belonging to ISIS were killed in the two Iraqi provinces of Anbar and Salahuddin. In a statement, the unit said 14 hideouts of ISIS rebels were grounded, 12 terrorists killed and seven injured in a joint attack of the air force and army in Al-Gitar (train) station, Albu-Daij, Albu-Yousef and Albu-Shegel areas in Al-Anbar province. In the so-called Al-Tash new Hasiba Al-Jadida, the federal police killed three snipers and injured a fourth, the statement said. Meanwhile, the Iraqi forces were able to purify Samara island with the support of the artillery and army air force, killing 30 terrorists belonging to different nationalities and demolished a hideout accommodating six according to the statement. It added that Baghdad police command killed 12 and injured three terrorists and snipers while liberating Al-Karmah district westwards of Baghdad. In Salahuddin province, the security authorities killed two terrorists in Biji refinery area, the statement said, adding that the coalition forces launched 15 airstrikes along the battlefield, killing 17 terrorists and injuring five.
