Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud witnessed at his residence in Madinah Wednesday evening a presentation on the Prophet's Mosque and central region expansion projects. During the presentation, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques listened to an explanation from the Assistant Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Hamoud Al-Maziad and engineers and officials of the expansion projects of the Prophet's Mosque and the central region and the elements related to the expansion projects. The king viewed models and replicas of the projects of the expansion of the Prophet's Mosque, Al-Sunnah path that connects the Prophet's Mosque with Quba'a Mosque, Quba'a Mosque expansion and Dar al-Hijrah project, which includes 100 residential and commercial towers accommodating 120 thousand guests. The king also viewed the projects' related elements including a transport network, housing and investment projects and the international conference center in Madinah. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud stressed the importance of careful follow-up of the work in the major expansion of the Prophet's Mosque and projects associated with the it, which all contribute to serving Islam and Muslims from around the world, as well as serving the people of the city of the Prophet (pbuh) and its visitors. The presentation was attended by a number of princes and officials.
