The Board of Directors of Commission of Communications and Information Technology has approved a document dealing with the protection of users' rights and interests, as part of its efforts to protect the users of telecommunications services and information technology. The Commission said in a press release today that the document was the result of a study for reasons of repeated complaints and its analyses and to develop solutions in order to address them, and to avoid repetition and achieve the protection of users, noting that the solutions included "protecting the applicant user". The document came in 11 articles in which providers committed the Communications and Information Technology Services to series of actions that aim to protect the applicant and the user, either at the request of the service or cancellation, or billing, as well as how to deal with the credit limit, the Internet packs, and the obligations of the service provider to protect user while roaming, and its obligations in dealing with the complaints of users.
