Greece hopes to reach a bailout deal with its creditors in the next 10 days, a government spokesman said Friday, dpa reported. "We think conditions have matured [for the evaluations] to progress further and in the next 10 days, in May, for the agreement to be sealed," Greek government spokesman Gabriel Sakellaridis said in an interview with Skai TV. "It was a very friendly, constructive exchange," Merkel said on Friday, of her meeting with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on the margins of an EU summit in Riga the previous night.
