The Tabuk region's environment is considered as one of the fertile environments for the cultivation of roses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is characterized by it over more than 27 years, taking the region to the globalization whereas its natural and unique product makes its way to the markets of Europe, America, Asia, and the Gulf states, by annual production of more than 19 million flowers. The production of Tabuk from flowers divided into (8) million carnation flowers in its different forms and colors, (4) million roses of various types and colors and (9) million flowers, (25%) of their annual production is being exported to Germany; the Netherlands; the Czech Republic; the United Kingdom; Cyprus; Lebanon; Gulf Arab states; Asia and Latin America. The idea the production of flower in Tabuk turned back to 1983, when an illustrative study was made on the market's need of flowers and their covering of the local market to reach the stage of self-sufficiency, before exporting.
