Saturday's Asian Cup final between Australia and South Korea will be played in front of a sold-out crowd of nearly 80,000, dpa quoted organizers as saying Friday. Stadium Australia in Sydney can hold 84,000 fans but restrictions for the competition mean it will not be full to capacity. And FIFA president Joseph Blatter, who will attend the final, said the event had been a massive success overall. "The AFC Asian Cup 2015 has been hugely successful with entertaining football, extensive media coverage, impressive attendances and record levels of television viewership," he said.
