Brooklyn Strikers' keglers kept alive their hot streak by clinching the Team of the Week award in the 21st week of action in the FBGR-SABB Friday League here. Jojo Paciano, wearing the jersey of the defending champion Tecsult International splashed his deadly form to bag the Bowler of the Week award. The league, sponsored by SABB and organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR), is held at Universal Bowling Center (UBC) here. The league leaders, Brooklyn Strikers, captained by Emil Rances, posted 22 big points against D'Big Blast's 5, to not only claim the week's team award but also tighten their hold on the top spot. The excellent game displayed by Ronald Bautista with a splendid support extended by Danny Bautista, Rocky Manipon, Emil Rances and Padi Padilla lifted Brooklyn Strikers to post the convincing win. Southpaw Bautista led Brooklyn Strikers by knocking down a towering four-game series scratch of 826. Hard-hitting Bautista, Manipon, Rances and Padilla contributed separate series of 766, 755, 748 and 742. For D'Big Blast, mentored by Mario Rivera, at helm was Rivera with 787 points. Sonny Alviso shot 761 points. Susie Rivera, Larry Mondoy and Rodel Canda registered separate series of 710, 670 and 609. The week's Best Bowler, Jojo Paciano, powered Tecsult International to clobber Pin Rockers 15-9. Paciano fired a four-game series of 843 points. Next was Willy Jadulos with 826 points. Mike Ecalnir, Nap Torres and captain Fem Baracoso added series of 819, 747 and 536 points, respectively. Mar Viloria led Pin Rockers by posting a series of 803 points in four games. Then came Jay Salandanan (776), Nelson Sakiwat (703) and Danny Trinidad (539). Pin Rockers have a one blind player in their lineup. In another pair of lanes, Team Strikeforce, captained by Sam Alinsod, demolished Advanced Electronics Co. 18-5. Taking center stage for Team Strikeforce was Arnel Bernabe with 824 points. Roi Rosario and Roland Gacia knocking down series of 770 and 706 points, while Ronald Cruz and Alinsod added 564 and 538 points. James Frizzle had 391 series in two games. Marc Carpio scored 808 points to sit on top in AEC. Allan Doruelo downed 755 points. Dennis Collado and Larry Saria followed with 746 and 728 points, respectively. Fathi Bowlers rolled past Pinoy Henyo Bowlers, 20-11 through the awesome performances of Erwin Nacario (815), Sammy San Juan (808), Fahad Al-Haza (775) and Celis Viloria (729). Fareed Aquino and Fathi Abood Abdulaziz contributed 424 and 346 series in two games. Boy Mirando and Fhel Ramos sealed series of 806 and 802 points for Pinoy Henyo Bowlers. Cas Encila and Willy Nogoy downed 771 and 749 points, while Gigi Enriquez rolled a series of 547 points in three games.
