Published in The Saudi Gazette on 24 - 04 - 2008

Epson Middle East has conducted on Tuesday the “Exceed Your Vision With Epson Business Seminar 2008” which gathered a high-profile list of participants at the Marriott Hotel in Riyadh as part of a strategy to reinforce Epson's presence in the Saudi market. Epson's business seminar coincided with its participation in Gitex KSA 2008 that ended on Wednesday.
The seminar showcased the latest comprehensive business solutions developed by Epson, including business-oriented scanners, printers and projectors. Key decision makers and executives from governmental bodies, ministries, universities, contracting companies, healthcare and medical firms, insurance companies and several other SMBs attended the event.
“KSA has been a great source of strength for the Epson brand as we have received a very high demand for our portfolio of products from the Saudi market. This seminar has been part of several activities we have been organizing to show our commitment to our customers in the Kingdom and to express our appreciation for their continued patronage to our products,” said Khalil El-Dalu, general manager, Epson Middle East.
“The Business Seminar 2008 also aimed to help our channel partners better understand Epson's wide range of business-oriented product offerings. Participants were provided technical and practical advice that enabled them to maximize sales opportunities, and allowed them to fully understand and appreciate the distinct features that make Epson a cut above the rest,” added El-Dalu.
The Epson Business Seminar 2008 gave participants a comprehensive discussion of Epson's corporate history, its business printing strategy, and its business and educational projectors strategy, while providing a detailed overview of new Epson products that are underway. The seminar was also highlighted by a raffle draw featuring exciting Epson products as prizes and was capped by a lunch where clients were free to discuss with Epson executives their various industry requirements.
Another highlight of the seminar were various demonstrations of Epson's top-of-the-line products, including the AcuLaser M2000D, which was recently launched in the Middle East and was demonstrated in Saudi for the first time; the new Business InkJet Printer, a very fast InkJet printer customized for business environments with excellent total cost ownership; and a new Business Scanner, which has been designed to help clients improve their document capturing workflow and document management system integration.
Epson's participation at Gitex KSA 2008, on the other hand, is in collaboration with its value-added distributor SAMIR and Saudisoft. Among the product lines to be showcased in the exhibition are business and educational projectors, business scanners, mono laser printers, color laser printers and multi- function printers, and InkJet printers and multi-function units. “Epson continues to invest aggressively in the Middle East, with a particular focus on the Saudi market, which offers substantial growth potential for Epson's product lines. Educational, governmental, healthcare and various small and medium businesses have consistently continued to showcase increasing demands for Epson printers, scanners and projectors. In view of this, we have created parallel initiatives such as seminars and road shows to deliver greater product value to our clients,” he added. __
