SGH, Hyderabad Sharks and Pak Green open account in ACE-Initial SPL T20

JEDDAH — Saudi German Hospital, Hyderabad Sharks and Pak Green secured their first points in the 3rd week of the ACE-Initial Saudi Premier League (SPL) T20 Tournament.
The event is being sponsored by ACE and Initial as the main sponsors while ALS, MIZO (Arrow Food Distribution), Saudi Industrial Projects (Pepsi), Khind Electronics, Jotun and UT Lines are the co-sponsors.
Saudi German Hospital (SGH) opened its account in the league with a 37-run win over ARM United. Put into bat, Saudi German Hospital scored 214 for 7. Izhar top-scored with 88 and Taqi added 35. For ARM Attaur Rehman took 2-43. In reply, ARM could score only 177-8. Thabrez (52 retired), Nazeer (39) and Shiraz (37) were the main contributors. Taqi took 3-25. Izhar of Saudi German Hospital was named the Man of the Match.
Hyderabad Sharks downed ALS Warriors by 7 wickets. Batting first, ALS Warriors were all out for 141 with Shahbaz scoring 29 and Sami 23. Faheem picked up 4-21, while Ayaz took 2 and then went on to score a stylish 50 with good support from Parvez (35) to give Hyderabad a 7-wicket win as it reached the target in 17.5 overs. Ayaz of Hyderabad Sharks was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Pak Green mauled Kashmir Stags by 6 wickets. Kashmir Stags posted 151-9 in 20 overs. Nayeem and Usman scored 40 and 32, respectively. Asim took 4 wickets giving away 31 runs. Pak Green reached the target in 17.4 overs. Rizwan top-scored with 43, while Shan and Aamir Gujjar added 37 and 35, respectively. Rizwan of Pak Green was named the Man of the Match.
MCH Premier beat Saudi Oil by 46 runs. MCH Premier put on 233-6. Kashif scored a brilliant century (113). Ayaz took 2-47. Chasing 234 runs to win, Saudi Oil was bundled out for 187. Rameez and Sulaiman Malik posted 48 and 44, respectively. Adnan took 4-36. Mohammed Kashif was declared the Man of the Match.
Ace Travel thrashed ICAD by 85 runs. ACE Travel recorded 240-9. Ahmed Shehzad scored 50, while Sami Khan and Amir Shehzad hit 41 each. Munawwar took 3 wickets for 35. ICAD was bowled out for 155. Mohsin scored 37 and Munawwar 46. Faheem Pasha grabbed 4 wickets for 33, while Sami Khan picked up 3-24. Sami Khan was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Pepsi Deccan Knights edged MB Stars by 16 runs. Pepsi notched 185-6. Wajid Samdani (45), Mazhar (35) and Sohail (25) were among the main contributors. Zia Anwar and Ateeq Mansha had identical figures of 2-27. In reply, MB Stars was all out for 169. Moazzam scored 59 and Murtaza chipped in with 37. Wajid seized 4-29 and Athar 2-32. Wajid Samdani was declared the Man of the Match.
