TABUK — In two separate incidents, the Border Guards on Monday saved three drowning persons. Tabuk Border Guards spokesman, Col. Abdullah Al-Ghurair, said officers rescued a 17-year-old boy who was found close to drowning after swimming in a prohibited area. He was given medical treatment on the spot and taken to a local hospital. According to Al-Ghurair, the other two victims were sucked out to sea by a strong current and were eventually found by guards paroling the area. Officers rescued both victims and gave them medical treatment at the scene. The two victims recovered without needing to go to the hospital.
