This is in response to the report “90 percent drivers in Saher net are Saudis,” in Saudi Gazette (July 28). Some remarks in addition to the ones in the article. First place, Saudi drivers are not used to be corrected, not in traffic and not in life. Discipline is a strange phenomenon, not only in traffic. Second, driving training in Saudi Arabia is far below international levels and these are the results. Third, it is a misunderstanding that speed is a killer. Not speed but speed differences between too slow drivers and the speeders are the cause. And inexperienced drivers, not capable to control their cars whenever. Barthol, Online response
