This is in response to the article “Visiting the sick in Eid,” in Saudi Gazette (July 18). Thanks for reminding a Sunnah (following the Holy Prophet's teachings) to all of us Muslims. It is true that sick and very aged people will feel lonely, sad, and isolated from society if we do not visit them and alleviate their pain. We should have done this long time back. At least let us start it during this Eid itself. Sohail, Online response Really appreciative reminder It was really good reading the article by Dr. Haitham Mahmoud Shawly, who touched our hearts by the timely reminder. The best news I've read in recent times. I appreciate this and thank him a lot for reminding us to do our part. I salute this humane man. Shamsul Arifin, Online response
