MUMBAI - Bollywood filmmaker Vikas Bahl said he is quite comfortable with the three Khans - Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir - blocking festival dates for big releases as it helps small-budget movies, NDTV reported. “It's good that the Khans are releasing films during festive periods. It's good because it brings more money and helps small films,” he said at the trailer launch of "Masaan." “We always try to make different kinds of films. We like to experiment. We get attracted to do new things; it is challenging,” said the Phantom Films' co-owner. Neeraj feels that there is an advantage and disadvantage of releasing a movie at film festivals. “The good part is that you get to show the film to a new, wider audience; you get buyers; it creates a buzz back home. The flip side is that films released at festivals are seen as arty,” he said. - Agencies
