Syeda Amtul Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — The Alumni association of Jamia Nizamia, “Bazme Tulba-E-Qadeem W Muhibban-E-Jamia Nizamia,” organized a function to welcome pilgrims recently at a local restaurant here. The visiting pilgrims Syed Mohd Mahmoud Pasha Qadri Shuttari and Maulana Syed Shah Akramullah Bukhari, Khateeb Masjid Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, were the chief guests of the evening, while Syed Mohd Imaduddin Moazzam Qadri was the guest of honor. While addressing the gathering Shuttari said, “We should perform salah with all our devotion to Allah as salah is not only obligatory on us but it's a way to get close to Allah. A Muslim should offer salah with all attention of his mind and body.” Maulana Mohd Mohsin Pasha Naqshbandi said “The teachings of founder of Jamia Nizamia Imam Mohd Anwarullah Khan Fazilath Jung are now spreading all over and everyone accepts it.” He planted a seed and now the plant is benefiting all in the world. Today Alumnus of Jamia Nizamia is preaching Islam all over the world. Maulana Bukhari also addressed the gathering. Some gifts including shaya, ghutra and certificates were presented to the chief guests by the Alumni association. Hafiz Abdul Saleem, Hafiz and Qari Mohammed Saleem Quadri Nizami, Syed Mohd Abdul Rub Hamid Qadri, VP finance committee, Mohd Maslahuddin Javeed, VP educational committee of Alumni were also present in the occasion. Earlier, the program started with the recitation of the Qur'an by Hafiz Abdul Salam Aziz Anwari followed by a naat by Syed Abubakr Quadri. The alumni president, Mohammed Naveed Afroz Naveed, presided over the function while Maulana Hafiz Mohd Nizamuddin Ghouri was the master of ceremonies. Jamia Nizamia is one of the leading and oldest Islamic universities in Hyderabad, India.
