With regard to the article "Insurance companies continue to raise prices" (Mar. 27), an insurance policy is a legal document and it should be marketed and sold only through specialized channels, such as those who are specialists in insurance rules or through insurance brokers who can advise clients properly. The majority of insurance companies do not have knowledgeable salesmen who can provide guidance to customers. Insurance companies lure clients and deal with them directly. Clients do not bother to undertake a pre-purchase survey of the insurance market nor do they consult an agency to guide them. A strong regulation of the distribution channel of insurance is the only solution. Zeya, Online response
