The author of "Stop people from interfering in the affairs of others" (Feb. 14) writes: "Women's clothes do not harm society nor do they threaten national unity and security". In fact, it really does matter when a woman is not dressed modestly in an abaya (the long flowing outer garment worn by women in Saudi Arabia) with a hijab (head scarf). I am also against criticizing the way of life of others but it is necessary to advise people in a polite manner. Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (Haia) are not available around the clock and in every place.
