TABUK — Jordanian security forces arrested three Syrian men for attempting to smuggle 1.4 million drug pills concealed inside metal construction wires bound for the Kingdom. The Jordanian General Security Media Center reported that it received information on a group of Arabs who planned to smuggle drugs into the Kingdom. Jordanian authorities began tracking the suspects until more evidence was collected. Eventually, three of the five suspects were arrested. Their case was handed over to the Jordanian General Court and investigations into the role of the other two suspects are ongoing.
