TABUK — Traffic police have arrested a driver who allegedly killed one woman and injured another in an apparent hit and run. Head of Tabuk's Traffic Department Brig. Gen. Muhammad Bin Shabab Al-Bugamy said the victim who died was a 65-year-old woman, while a 55-year-old woman sustained severe injuries. He said: “The incident happened last week but there was limited information to work with. All we had was the license plate number and car model.” He said officers called in the drivers with a Tabuk license plate and a matching or similar car description. “There was one citizen who was very hesitant and would not come to the station when asked to do so. We located the man's house and watched him for a while until we found he had a vehicle that matched the description given.” He confessed to his crime and surrendered himself to police, said Al-Bugamy.
