RAFHA — Around 100,000 women in Rafha and surrounding villages have to travel 600 km to Arar to get their national identification cards due to a lack of female employees at Rafha Civil Affairs Department. A number of citizens said some women have to travel to Hail, which is 800 km away, or Buraidah to avoid crowding at Arar Civil Affairs Department. Spokesman for Civil Affairs Mohammad Al-Jasser said opening offices for women requires a number of preparations and hiring of qualified staff and Rafha is included in future plans to open sections for women.
